Terms of Service
last updated: June 22, 2026
Welcome to Artifacky. These terms are the agreement between you and us about how you can use Artifacky. Please read them — by creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Artifacky is operated by Artifacky Pte Ltd ([[FILL: UEN]]), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered office at [[FILL: REGISTERED_ADDRESS]] (“the Company,” “Artifacky,” “we,” “us”). “You” means the person or organization using the service.
These Terms take effect on June 22, 2026.
1. What Artifacky is
Artifacky is a place to publish and host single-file HTML artifacts and to build a public profile of the things you've made. We host and display the work you upload; we don't create it for you. Artifacts are made elsewhere and published on Artifacky.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old to use Artifacky. If you're under 18, you may only use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using Artifacky you confirm you meet these requirements and that any information you give us is accurate.
3. Your account
You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it, so keep your login secure. Your handle (for example, @you) is licensed to you, not owned — see Usernames and Handles below for how handles can be reclaimed or reassigned.
4. Usernames and Handles
Your username (handle) is licensed to you for use on Artifacky; it is not your property, and no ownership or other proprietary right in any handle vests in you through registration or use. We may modify, reclaim, suspend, disable, or reassign any handle at our sole discretion, including (without limitation) where a handle: (a) infringes or is confusingly similar to a trademark, service mark, or other rights of a third party; (b) impersonates, or falsely suggests affiliation with, a person, brand, or organization; (c) is registered or used in bad faith, including to sell, lease, or extract value from the handle; (d) violates these Terms or our Username & Trademark Policy; or (e) is inactive. Where we reclaim a handle that you are using, we will, except in cases of clear bad faith or active impersonation, give you reasonable notice, assign you a substitute handle, and maintain a redirect from your prior handle to your new handle for a limited grace period so that your existing links continue to resolve. We are not liable for any loss arising from the modification, reclamation, or reassignment of a handle.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. By publishing an artifact, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, cache, reproduce, display, and distribute it, and to generate preview images (thumbnails or screenshots) of it — all for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving Artifacky. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we need to retain copies briefly in backups or to meet legal obligations.
You promise that you have the rights to everything you publish, and that it doesn't break the law or these terms. You're solely responsible for your artifacts and their content.
6. The “Published on Artifacky” credit
Free artifacts display a small Artifacky mark alongside a credit that links back to your profile. Paid plans may remove the Artifacky mark; the creator credit and profile link remain on every plan. You agree not to remove, obscure, or alter the credit or mark except through the plan features we provide.
7. Acceptable use
Because your artifacts can contain code that runs in other people's browsers, this section matters. You must not upload, publish, or use Artifacky to distribute anything that:
- contains malware, viruses, cryptominers, or code designed to harm, deceive, surveil, or take over a visitor's device or data;
- phishes for credentials, impersonates others, or is otherwise fraudulent or deceptive;
- infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or is sexually exploitative of minors (we have zero tolerance and report such material to the authorities);
- harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence or hatred against people;
- attempts to break out of the artifact sandbox, attack our systems or other users, scrape the service, or evade our limits or security.
You're also responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and to the people who view your artifacts, including data-protection and consumer laws if your artifact collects information from visitors.
8. How artifacts run
Artifacts are user-generated content. We render them in a sandboxed environment on a separate domain to reduce risk, but we don't review, endorse, or guarantee any artifact, and we can't promise the sandbox is perfect. Artifacts may contain their own code, forms, links, or third-party services set by their creators. If you view or interact with an artifact, you do so at your own risk, and your interaction with an artifact's own features is between you and its creator.
9. Moderation and takedowns
We may review, limit, unpublish, or remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion — for example if we believe these terms have been broken or to protect users or the platform. If you believe content on Artifacky infringes your intellectual property, contact us at hello@artifacky.comwith enough detail to identify the work and the material, and we'll respond appropriately, including removing infringing material and terminating repeat infringers.
10. Plans, billing, and pricing
Free. The Free plan lets you publish up to a set number of artifacts and build a profile, at no cost.
Pro.Pro is a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually, that unlocks unlimited artifacts and removes the Artifacky mark, among other features. Pro currently launches at an introductory “founder pricing” rate. We may change Pro's price in the future; if you subscribe during the introductory period, your rate stays the same for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current price applies.
Founding Pro. Founding Pro is a one-time payment for lifetime access to Pro features, limited in number. It is not a subscription and, once your seat is confirmed, is not recurring.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes, which you're responsible for where they apply. Paid features continue until the end of your current billing period if you cancel; we don't generally offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law. We'll describe any specific refund terms at the point of purchase.
11. Service “as is”
We work hard to keep Artifacky running, but we provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any artifact will always be available.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artifacky and its operators won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from any artifact. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Artifacky harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
14. Termination
You can stop using Artifacky and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses needed for backups, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use Artifacky after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to [[FILL: DISPUTE_FORUM]], except where local law gives you rights that can't be waived.
